Ask who himself is by the famous Sire Saddlers Wells was a model of consistency and soundness during his racing career winning no less than 6 stakes races which included multiple Grade 1 wins in The Coronation Cup and The Prix Royal-Oak and he also won the G2 Yorkshire Cup by a blistering 6L, finishing off his sterling racing career for Sir Micheal Stoute on an impressive Official flat rating of 121. He has already made a solid start as a stallion, represented by black type performers Ask Ben, Ask Dillon, Buster Valentine to name but a few.
Her dam Good Bye Dolly is herself a winner under National Hunt rules for Tom Taffe and is by the great National Hunt sire Buckskin who produced household names such as Micko’s Dream, Buck Rogers and Grand National winner Amberleigh House to name only a few. The family boasts a pedigree full of black type horses including Grade 1 winning Cheltenham hero Our Vic, Radiation, Siegemaster, Emperors Choice the list goes on.
Our filly currently has 2 full siblings currently in training who have shown proven ability, Quiz Master being a winner for Colin Tizzard and rated in the 120s under rules picking up prize money in over half of his races and Gondor who finished second in an competitive Irish P2P for Colm Murphy beaten only a short head in a photo finish by Battle Of Actium a €65,000 store purchase by Gigginstown, with the 2 leaders pulling clear of third, we know he is highly regarded by those involved in Colm Murphy’s yard and expect him to do do well under rules.
Our filly is already 16 hands in height and still growing, she has a great walk to her and plenty of strength whilst also possessing a lovely presence to her and has spent the Spring being broken in and is now carrying out her pre-training programme with the plan to head into Gordon’s for earlt autumn with the plan being to target an early 4yo bumper in the new year with her.
