The dust has finally settled and we wanted to take an opportunity to look back and reflect on the recent sale of Beyond Redemption at the Tattersalls Cheltenham sale last week.

It was the very first of our investment point to point runners to go under the hammer and a massive day for those involved in the horse. We met with a few of his owners who had made the journey over to watch the sale and enjoy a day of top class racing at Cheltenham to settle their nerves.

It was less than a week before the sales that Beyond Redemption had got off the mark at Loughanmore in impressive style. (you can watch the race right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z77lqALShwU&t=2s)

Hopes were high as we took our seats in a crowded sales arena, it was great to see so much wider interest from racing fans who took the chance to get up close and watch future stars go under the hammer. Being lot 30 gave us plenty of time to watch the other lots take their turns.

Eventually it was our turn and we all took a collective deep breath after what felt like eternity the final price was a huge £140,000. Our owners were delighted with what the horse went for and it was not too long before we headed off for a celebratory drink or two.

The horse was purchased by Grech & Parkin and will be trained by Nicky Henderson, we wish them all the luck in the world and feel convinced they got a real bargain in Beyond Redemption.

Finally with the sales in mind it is worth reminded you we still have some shares remaining in our latest rules horse Everybreathyoutake. The high class point winner who ran to a rating of +92 on his second start is going to be an exciting prospect in the Pioneer silks when he returns from a short break. Gordon is clearly a fan of the horse and spent a huge £105,000 to purchase the horse who was 16 lengths behind in 3rd to him in his winning point.
