Pioneer are pleased to announce the arrival of Irish Art to the ranks which was secured by Gordon and Aidan O’Ryan at the recent horse in training sales. He is a strongly built bay gelding who comes highly recommended. We had spoken to Gordon after the sales about securing a type that could be dual purpose which would give options throughout the year. This is a type of horse in which Gordon excels with. After discussions with Gordon and his team we decided that Irish Art fitted the bill to a tee. Irish Art is by the sire Dutch Art in which Gordon trained his best progeny over jumps in ‘Suitor’.

This horse has come highly recommended by one of his previous riders and we believe a freshen up and change of scenery and routine can bring the best out in Irish Art. In his schooling so far he has jumped well and taken to his hurdling. The horse has shown to handle the all-weather well which is usually a fair indicator that a horse could well be capable of handing softer ground which can be a key component for national hunt racing. The team also believe he is off a fair mark which can be capitalised on down the line.
