Our fillies sire Mount Nelson was a multiple group 1 winner during his racing career and has produced winners at the highest level over the flat and also the jumps. He was brought over to Ireland in 2017 by the highly respected Boardsmill Stud who have had plenty of success over the years with the stallions they have stood at there County Meath base. Mount Nelson’s first crop of Irish National Hunt bred horses have just started featuring on the track and on the P2P circuit and the reports have been positive amongst trainers and P2P handlers especially in regards to the fillies which include Christmas Bumper winner ‘Bold Reflection’ and Irish 4yo P2P winner ‘Future Perfect’. Prior to this Mount Nelson had caught the attention of National Hunt breeders as he was producing plenty of jumps winners including Cheltenham Festival Hero Penhill and Punchestown Festival winner Pure Bliss amongst others.

The dam of our filly ‘Toile d’Auteuil’ (peak rating of 143) as previously mentioned won 12 races over fences and hurdles during her racing career and also achieved the feat of securing black type. It’s a beautiful fillies pedigree up and down the page and not only was our fillies dam a black type performer, her 2nd dam ‘Toile de Maitre’ and 3rd dam ‘Camarange’ were black type performers and producers. You have mares such as ‘Naringe’ (peak rating of 165), ‘Vision De Maitre’ (peak rating of 151) and the Willie Mullins Cheltenham heroine ‘Elimay’ (rated 155) featuring on the page. Also on the page is Gary Moore’s extremely talented performer ‘Goshen’. Toile d’Auteuil’s sire ‘Discover d’Auteuil’ was himself a black type winner over hurdles in France and has also produced top performers with the most famous being Grade 1 winner Or Noir De Somoza. It is fair to say it is a pedigree that we like a lot.
