As winter creeps in the ante at Pioneer headquarters has been upped. We have come off the back of a extremely busy week and all being well shall be rewarded in the near future. The following piece will give a round up of our recent activity:
Everybreathyoutake
We start this piece by introducing our new horse, we were delighted to announce that we have secured the impressive 4 year old point to point winner Everybreathyoutake who we will be placing in training with leading National Hunt trainer Gordon Elliott. He was highly recommended to us by Gordon who was very keen to keep the horse in the yard after his previous owners put him up for sale to dissolve a partnership. We are extremely confident he will provide us with plenty of good days out in the future. He has had a few runs under rules for his previous owners including a fine 2nd in a bumper at Roscommon after drifting severely on the run in due to greenness, followed by a below par run in a maiden hurdle over 2m which Jack Kennedy immediately put down to the trip being to sharp for him and suggested 2m4f should suit him perfectly, haven spoken to Gordon about the horse he feels that as he is still only 4yo and has been on the go a long time and will benefit hugely from a break to help him mature and fill out into his frame before going back into training in January for a spring campaign, Gordon believes he should be effective on most ground types bar extremes one way or the other.
Shares start from 5% for €800/£700 and €1500/£1310 for 10% which is a once off purchase fee and as a Owner will give you the equivalent percentage of any sales price if the horse should be sold on in the future. The monthly fees will begin from the 1st January 2019 (€120/£110 per month for 5%/€240/£220 per month for 10%). Beyond Redemption
It was a breakthrough moment on the Saturday just gone as we had our first Point to point winner in our silks with the ultra talented and very exciting prospect Beyond Redemption. We always knew that this horse had plenty of ability and it was shown with a ultra impressive burst of speed which put the race to bed and capped off a impressive performance for the 4yo gelding by Court Cave. Holy Motivation & Punchestown
Our Kalanisi mare Holy Motivation has received an entry this Sunday at Punchestown Racecourse, it is a privilege to have horses entered up at the premier racetracks in Ireland and with luck to be involved on a card which represents the start of the National hunt season proper showcased by the Grade 1 Morgiana Hurdle. We have plenty more runners lined up in the pipeline and the black and mauve of Pioneer Racing is sure to be prominent over the coming few months.
