Pioneer are delighted to have secured this very well bred Gelding by the high class National Hunt Sire Sholokhov out of the multiple winning mare Seven Even.

Sholokhov has proven himself to be a National Hunt Stallion of the top bracket siring Cullentra House Stables superstar & Gold Cup winner Don Cossack. Sholokhov has gone from strength to strength since relocating to Ireland and hit the headlines again with his high class festival heroes Shishkin and Bob Olinger. He has received high class jumping mares in the last few seasons and we expect more big names to become a common theme with this stallion.

The dam Seven Even raced in France and was a very likeable mare winning twice and placing 12 times displaying durability and the right attitude. She is very well related being a half sister to the ultra talented Willie Mullins black type Grade 1 winner Petite Parisienne among other winners. She is by Turtle Bowl who has proven to be a very useful sire of jumpers including Bapaume & Ivan Grozny. Seven Even has also displayed her ability as a broodmare with her first progeny to race being the Oliver Sherwood trained Little Awkward who is very well regarded and has already won a bumper and a maiden hurdle with more to come from him.

This gelding is very racey in his appearance which is typical of the family he is from, he is very sharp and has done everything asked of him easily so far. He was broken in by Ciaran Murphy at his Charlestown Racing base in Mullingar and is now in with Gordon Elliott at Cullentra House. This is a system that has served us well and provided us with plenty of winners. All of the early signs are good with this Gelding and he has taken to jumping very well.
